I didn't launch on a theory. I analysed odds patterns across thousands of matches spanning multiple seasons to find what actually works, then built the algorithm around those findings.

The analysis confirmed what the theory suggested: backing the right teams with the right market conditions produces meaningfully better outcomes than backing both sides of every match, backing underdogs, favourites, home or away, or using odds comparison tools to find tight lay spreads. Backing both sides of hundreds of matches a season looks like matched betting. A handful of carefully selected picks per week spread across major European leagues looks like a football fan. The best strategy is worthless if the bookmaker shuts you out.

My algorithm covers the Premier League, Championship, League One, League Two, Scottish Premiership, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Champions League, Europa League, FA Cup and EFL Cup, and more, competitions where exchange markets are deep by nature. Obscure lower-league fixtures are filtered out automatically. Coverage depends on fixture availability and exchange market depth.

Who built this

Data-first, transparent-first.

I'm a developer, not a bettor. I built MATHed Betting for a family member who wanted to try matched betting but didn't know which matches to pick. I don't find betting exciting, I find data exciting. So I built a system that treats bookmaker odds as a dataset, analysed patterns across multiple seasons of football, and found that the right filters produce meaningfully better results than betting blind. This tool is the result.

I wanted to make something that tips the scales slightly back in favour of the bettor, using the bookies' own numbers against them. The dashboard shows you the pick and the numbers behind every match. No black boxes, no hype, just maths.
